2. Cloud AI Processing
To generate stunning, high-quality slides, Frescio uses secure cloud servers and third-party AI providers (such as Large Language Models and Image Generation models). This means your text prompts and selected themes are sent to the cloud to be processed.
3. What We Collect and Why
Account Details: Your name, email address, and authentication data to keep your account secure. Your Content: The text prompts, brand assets (logos, fonts), and edits you provide to generate presentations. This is used solely to deliver the service to you.
Technical Data: Device type, browser info, and app stability metrics to maintain performance and fix bugs.
Payment Info: Handled securely by our payment processor (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.
4. AI Training Data: You Are in Control
We respect your private workspaces.
- By Default: We do not use your private presentation content, uploaded brand assets, or proprietary text to train our foundational AI models.
- Opt-In: We may introduce features where you can voluntarily share anonymized prompt data to help improve Frescio's aesthetic algorithms. This is strictly opt-in. (Note: Third-party AI providers we use via enterprise APIs are under strict agreements not to use your data for training their public models).
5. Public vs. Private Presentations
- Private Workspaces: Presentations kept in your dashboard or exported as PPTX/PDF remain private to you and your invited team members.
- Web Sharing: If you choose to share a presentation via a "Frescio Web Link" (especially common on the Free tier), that specific presentation becomes accessible to anyone with the URL. Please do not publish links containing sensitive personal or corporate data.
6. Data Security
We take security seriously.
- Encryption at rest: Data stored in our databases is encrypted using industry standards.
- Encryption in transit: All communication between your browser and our servers uses TLS encryption.
- Access controls: We use strict role-based access to ensure data isolation.
7. How Long We Keep Data
We retain your account data and generated presentations for as long as your account is active, allowing you to access your workspace anytime. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your presentations and personal data from our active servers within 30 days.
8. When We Share Data
We only share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate Frescio (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors, and enterprise AI API providers). We never sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information only when strictly required by law or to protect the safety of our services.
9. Children's Data
Frescio is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 where applicable). If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us so we can delete their information immediately.
